Pittsburgh - Montana - Los Angeles - Pittsburgh.

Last summer on a two-week train loop to the West Coast and back I sat in a narrow seat and started working on rugs. I took inspiration from scenes outside the window and from station stops along the way. After returning home, the images reemerged as visitations: dreams, flashbulb memories, renderings that appeared in new rug art. Each of these squares is now another window of sorts, a glimpse of moments that haunt and travel with me long after stepping off the train.

This solo exhibition includes 14 individual works and will be on display at Scratch and Co. between May 2nd and July 30th, 2023. An Artist Reception will be held on May 11th from 4-7 pm.
